Every year I take my kids out trick or treating and every year I do something fun with my makeup instead of doing a full blown costume. This is a tutorial on how I did my dragon look this year.

First I did a very matte and poreless foundation routine that way I had an even surface to work with. (If you are interested in that routine follow this link.)Then I put a netted wig cap on and pulled it to right over my eyebrows.

Then I used a very bright shimmery peachy pink eye shadow and started blotting it with an eye shadow brush over the wig cap. The eye shadow I used through this tutorial are the colors from the Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette by BH Cosmetics.

I next took a shimmery orange color and blotted it around the edges of where I had placed the peachy pink color.

then I took the peachy pink color again and ran it down the sides of my nose using it as a contour. I also ran it up into my bone.

Then I took the shimmery orange color and applied it to my entire eyelid.

Next I pulled the wig cap past my nose and added more scales in from my temples to cheekbones. I used the peachy pink color and then the orange again.

Then I took a gold highlighter (Also from the same palette) and added it to the center line of my nose.

I took the same gold color and popped it into the inner corner of my eyes.

I then penciled in my brows to make them bolder and more defined.

I added eyeliner in a warm dark brown to the outer corner of eyes and pulled outward into an elongated wing. The one I used was the Almay eyeliner pencil in Mocha.

Next I applied a dark plum red lipstick. I used Rimmel London's Lasting Finish by Kate in shade 107.

I then took the same gold highlighter and popped it onto the center of my lips.

Next I applied a volumizing mascara. I used the volumizing mascara by Malley in Black.

I then decided I wanted more dimension to the scales and pulled my wig cap back down. I added a warm plum eye shadow over my other colors. Also from the same eye shadow palette.

I took the plum again and intensified the contour on my nose with it.

Then I applied that same plum color to my eyelid crease.

I left my hair in a messy curly style and that completed my look!
Hope all you beauties have a Happy Halloween!
